As we head into the busy holiday season, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from many holiday events and attractions to attend.
Foch Family Landscape Design Services would like to invite you to participate in the 2017 Holiday Home Tour, which is being put on by Newmarket’s Pickering College. Get in the holiday spirit by visiting five homes decorated in holiday splendour in the Aurora, Newmarket, and Sharon areas.
About the Pickering College Holiday Home Tour
Since its inception in 2005, the Pickering College Holiday Home Tour has grown substantially, attracting over 13,000 guests from across the province. Proceeds from this unique fundraiser, which is presented by Buckley Insurance, go towards supporting local charities and the school’s programs.
This self-directed tour will be open to 1,000 ticket holders on Friday, November 17th (5 pm-9:30 pm) and Saturday, November 18th (10 am-4 pm). Each of the five homes on the tour will be decorated with a unique holiday theme by a collaborative team of the finest decorators, designers, and florists in York Region.
The Holiday Home Tour will also include a Seasonal Boutique at Pickering College on the 18th from 10 am-5 pm. The Seasonal Boutique will feature over 40 vendors with unique gift ideas for holiday shoppers and is open to the public free of charge. An addition to this year’s Holiday Home Tour is a concert series at the historic Sharon Temple.

The 2017 Pickering College Holiday Home Tour will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Doane House Hospice. This non-profit organization is “dedicated to enhancing quality of life through the provision of non-medical support for those affected by or caring for an individual with a life-threatening illness, as well as bereavement support”.

About Pickering College
Pickering College is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. It was founded in 1842 as a Quaker school and has been at its current location in Newmarket since 1909.
