This landscape design was undertaken as a full property renovation to revitalize this traditional craftsman home. The final selected transitional design provided a traditional solution with contemporary flare. The materials used in the landscape complement and match the updated architecture. The tiered gardens in the front provide a smooth transition from the road to the entry porch. In the back there is an outdoor kitchen, dining area and living area shaded by a pergola and mature trees. The patio connects these spaces to the hot tub and formal lawn. Raised plant beds surround the whole yard to provide privacy and create a transition between spaces. Conceptual plans, detail design and contract administration were all provided to ensure a smooth renovation for the client from start to finish.
