The Haskett Wellness Node is a collision of art, nature and science which will remind its visitors of the importance of health, happiness, friendship and community.

This park aimed to create a space where indigenous and ancient beliefs work with the new sciences to create a place that invisibly ‘speaks’ to the inner worlds of its visitors while offering a beautiful physical landscape comprised of infrastructure geared toward a range of experiences and programming. The proposed nodes cater to multigenerational activities, while offering places for solitude and reflection, social gathering and movement. This park also offers space for children to highlight nature as the playground.

All work for this project was completed in consultation with Ascentia and the Town of Newmarket.
